When sitting down at any of the participating eateries during Restaurant Week, you’ll find two-course lunch menus items ranging from $10 to $20 per person, and three-course dinners between from $20 to $50 per person. And those irresistibly discounted meals will spotlight local produce, meat, seafood, libations, and other ingredients. It’s a great way to taste some of San Diego’s creative dishes filtered through the specific traditions, skills, and imaginations of world-class chefs.
A big part of the appeal of San Diego Restaurant Week is there’s no entry fee or ticket. Taking part in the festivities just means driving around San Diego County and enjoying the fruits of magical kitchens right where they’re based.
Again, there’s no special admission requirements for attending San Diego’s Restaurant Week. We do, however, recommend calling the restaurant before showing up, or use their reservations service like Open Table if it’s available, or simply call the restaurant directly. That will likely reduce the wait time, frustration and disappointment.
